Mike joined Lee & Associates in 2025. His primary focus is agency leasing and tenant representation for a variety of local, regional, national and international clients. Mike is also responsible for new business development and account servicing for Lee & Associate’s clients and customers. He has over 30 years of experience leasing office space and participating in development projects in the Austin area. During his real estate career, Mike has been responsible for marketing and leasing some of the region’s most prominent Class A office projects. Notably, downtown Austin’s Frost Bank Tower, a 33-story, 545,000 square-foot office building, and Colorado Tower, a 30-story, 373,334 square-foot Class A office project.  Mike was also responsible for leasing Dimensional Place, a two-building 360,000 square foot Class A office development in Southwest Austin, including pre-leasing 215,000 square feet to Dimensional Fund Advisors. 

Career History

Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Mike spent 3 years as Managing Director for Agency Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield’s Austin market. Prior to Cushman and Wakefield, Mike spent 5 years as Senior Vice President with Transwestern doubling their office portfolio. Mike spent 13 years as Vice President of Leasing for Cousins Properties’ Austin office. While there he leased over 3 million square-feet of office space, including Charles Schwab’s 495,000 square-foot lease at Research Park Plaza in Northwest Austin, the largest single lease transaction in a multi-tenant office building in the city. Other notable lease transactions include Frost National Bank, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Oracle, Accenture, Ernst & Young, Allergan, Scott Douglass & McConnico, C-3 (Front Gate Tickets), Dubois Bryant & Campbell, Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody, Morgan Stanley, Winstead Sechrest & Minick, Dewey Ballantine, University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO), Hewlett-Packard, TriNet, Nationwide Insurance, Forestar Real Estate Group and Jenkens & Gilchrest. Prior to his move to Austin, Mike spent 7 years in the financial services industry at Glendale Savings Bank in California and Bright Bank in Dallas, Texas. Mike is an expert in preleasing with more than 1.1 million square feet preleased so far.

Throughout his career, Mike has been directly responsible for leasing over 7 million square feet of commercial real estate and has marketed many of Austin’s finest office properties.
